After many years as a carpenter, Andreas Senoner turned to wood turning. In his workshop he creates handcrafted wooden objects that combine traditional skill, creative design and the natural beauty of the wood.
Traditional craft, creative shapes and a passion for wood
Andreas Senoner from Selva di Val Gardena devotes himself with great passion to the art of wood turning and the creative working of wood. He learned the carpenter's trade at the age of 14 and developed a deep bond with this material. After decades of experience as a carpenter, he decided to live out his enthusiasm for wood in a new form and to learn wood turning.
Natural shapes, special woods and timeless design
Andreas Senoner's woodwork combines clear forms with the natural beauty and individual grain of the wood. Carefully selected woods from South Tyrol and from his travels become high-quality, artistic one-offs through turning, burning and various surface treatments. Colour, structure and growth marks of the wood remain deliberately visible and make every object unique.
